Photo Experiment 

Brother Jon brought up a good point in commenting in my pictures from last night. "you can add all the flourescent bulbs in the world but you still need incandescent" (sic)

I left some of these fairly large. If you click again after the thumbnail, you'll get a much larger look at what I've done.

I grabbed a couple of lamps, one of them had a daylight bulb the other just a regular. both 100 watts.

Following are the results.

oh, whilst fooling with the camera I found a few things. A) If I use the self-timer and just hold it still, I get clearer pictures then trying to hold it still whilst triggering the shutter. B) There was a setting for flourescent lighting on the camera, you'll see a few of them below. Not really what I was looking for but kinda neat in a sunsetty kind of way.
